The Father Of Virtual Real Estate Investing Comments On His Industry

Filed under: Business Success, Life + Real Estate, Marketing Portal — admin at 6:38 pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2008

A relatively new concept in the online world is “Virtual Real Estate Investing“. What is meant by “Virtual Real Estate Investing” ranges from online games like SecondLife (where real profit can be made) to the use of internet technologies to make normal real estate investors more profitable.

To find out the real story, I had a conversation with Bryan Ellis of BryanEllis.com, widely considered to be one of the originators of the concept of Virtual Real Estate Investing.

Ellis says he adopted the term “virtual real estate investing” sometime before Y2K after he realized that making money online is conceptually very similar to making money with physical real estate.

An example of the similar nature of “virtual” and “physical” real estate Bryan Ellis likes to point out is the methods of making a profit from domain names compared to physical real estate. “There’s a huge difference between a website and a piece of real estate, but the ways you can profit from them are similar: ‘flipping’, rental/leasing, advertising sales, etc…all of these apply to both markets” he states.

The parallels really are obvious. After all, if you own a valuable piece of real estate, it’s “valuable” because other people are interested in that specific piece of property. Likewise, if you own a desirable domain name, others will find value in it because it serves their purposes. In either case, you could sell or lease the asset and turn it into cash.

In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

Soul Mate or No Soul Mate

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 9:01 pm on Monday, December 29, 2008

Let’s face it, dating is tough. It’s even tougher when you have to get past the social hurdles of being gay. No matter what, you must always remember that it’s your first priority to be true to yourself and make sure you’re with the person you’re seeing for the right reasons. If you don’t look out for yourself, no one else will.

Some people go through life thinking that they will never find “The One.” So they settle. They settle for abusive relationships, selfish lovers, cheaters, and liars - just because they don’t want to be alone. They overlook the fact that sometimes being alone for a while is the best thing. Being alone gives you the opportunity to contemplate and decide what you’re looking for, where you want to look for it, and ultimately, where you want to be five or ten years down the road.

I’m not saying that you can plan out any relationship and follow each step of it like a schedule. The truth is, you never know what is going to happen. But if you know just a little bit of what you want out of a relationship, it will only be a benefit to you and the person you’re seeing. Nothing is worse than being with someone who doesn’t know what they want.

That being said, here are some things you ought to consider before giving your heart - your most precious possession - away.

1. Never settle for someone who is selfish. True, we are all selfish in some way or another; but in the grand scheme of things, you’ll want to be with someone who considers your feelings before acting. When you are working 3 jobs, and set aside a long-awaited Saturday night to spend with your loved one, you don’t expect them to go out, get drunk, and fall asleep before you get to their house. That is selfish. Choose someone who puts your feelings above and beyond everything else. “The One” will be waiting for you with a rose. 2. Speaking of roses, be sure to choose someone who is generous and thoughtful - someone who will surprise you with flowers or a nice dinner when you are tired and had a miserable day. They don’t have to do it all the time, but once in a while, to show they care makes all the difference in a relationship. 3. Never settle for someone who is judgmental of others. The more tolerant a person is of others, the more tolerant they will be of you. 4. Never settle for someone who drinks too much or takes drugs. They will never change. 5. Never settle for someone who puts you down and makes you feel unimportant. This person does not care about your feelings. Mistreating you gives them a sense of power. Avoid this person like the plague. If you are involved with them already, tell them to take a hike - even if it is the hardest thing you ever had to do. You’ll thank yourself one day when you do meet “The One.” 6. Never settle for someone who doesn’t know how to laugh and have fun, even in the most trying situations. Someone who can turn a rotten time into the best time is worthy of your time and love. 7. Never settle for someone who leaves you hanging about the future. If they can’t commit to you now, chances are they won’t be committing to you anytime soon. Don’t torture yourself chasing them around. You’ll be wasting your time. 8. Choose someone who helps you be the best person you can be. Be with someone who gives you good advice, and wants you to succeed. 9. Do not be with someone who is jealous - whether they are jealous of your relationships with your friends, or don’t trust you to go out without them there. Without trust, a relationship has no foundation. 10. Choose someone with a big heart, who will love you no matter what you do.

Try to keep these things in mind the next time you make a decision about love. More often than not, you will be grateful that you did.

Choosing the best cell phone

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 5:19 pm on Monday, December 29, 2008

Choosing the best cell phone takes planning and the knack for
really knowing yourself. Your cell phone has to fit your
lifestyle, and that includes your budget. Almost all cell phones
require you committing to a long term contract with a cellular
company, so make sure you read the fine print, in order to avoid
any disappointments later on.

Armed with the knowledge of how much you want to pay, you can
quickly decide what features you want. Herein lies the secret to
choosing the best cell plan: when you know exactly what you
want, and how much you’re willing to pay, you can always find
just the perfect phone.

Some principles to base your cell-phone purchasing decision
on:

1) Not all cell
ular carriers or networks are created equal

2) Phone quality directly affects customer satisfaction

This means you need to do your research in order to find out
what type of phone and what type of cellular plan is right for
you. Find out what people who already own the phone are saying.
Research customer reviews and notate if anyone has brought up
certain issues or problems with plans or providers. It might
seem painstaking to do this level or research, but the hours of
hassle it saves you later on will be well worth it.

Several key components of picking the best cell phone are:

1) Cell phone styling and features - loads of features and
sleek design is what most people want

2) Reliable and cost-efficient cellular plans - cell phones are
monthly bills, people who pay monthly want a good service that
works

Cell phone styling varies widely in range, and it’s recommended
that you look at and hold several different styles of cell
phones to get a good feel for what to expect. A phone that
doesn’t feel right in your hand, will be one you’re unhappy
with. The easiest way to see a variety of cell phones is by
visiting a local retailer. If the screen is hard to read, or the
keypad is difficult for you to work with, you need to factor
that into your decision to buy. Keep a small checklist of the
pros and cons of the purchase. If the cons outweigh the pros,
then decided against it.

Next make sure to rigorously investigate the cellular plan
you’re expected to purchase, and read it before entering into
the agreement. Make sure all fees are disclosed, and that you
understand what you’re agreeing to in terms of total payments.
It’s better to be careful up front, than regret the decision for
years.

Expectations of cell phone consumers is high, and it’s no
wonder why: with over 800,000,000 phones sold in 2005, this is
one of the most popular products in the world. Companies ranging
from Nokia to Sony Ericsson make millions of units monthly and
ship them to locations around the world. Education is the best
tool that a cell phone consumer can have these days.

How to Safely Buy a Diamond Online - Part 2 of 3

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 11:55 am on Monday, December 29, 2008

It is now possible to save 40% to 60% by purchasing a diamond engagement ring from an online diamond retailer, rather than from a bricks-n-mortar High Street jeweller. Online diamond retailers don’t have retail shops, sales staff, large diamond inventories and other associated operating expenses and are therefore able to pass on the cost savings to consumers.

Of course, a diamond might be one of the largest one-off purchases made in one’s lifetime and so it is understandable that many people may be uncomfortable paying for a diamond before it has been seen and examined.

However, as long as the correct research and precautions are taken there should be no reason to be fearful about buying diamonds from Internet diamond merchants.

The three most important aspects of the pre-purchase checks that must be carried out are:

1. Assurance that the diamond business is legitimate,

2. Assurance that the payment method is secure,

3. The risk of merchant fraud or failed delivery is mitigated.

In part two of this three part series we examine the second aspect which is to be satisfied that your payment details will be secure.

Assurance payment details will be secure

There a number of assurance companies that will provide an additional level of comfort for online consumers. These companies provide certification that a particular company’s website is relatively safe and secure for online purchases.

Consumer Protection Accreditation

This is an accreditation service which audits an applying online retailer for ethical retailing and best practice data privacy. If the audit is passed the retailer is permitted membership and a unique membership number is provided, which can be added to the retailer’s website.

This number can then be cross-checked back to the issuing accreditation body to ensure that the retailer is in fact a member, giving confidence to the consumer that an online purchase from that diamond retailer is safer.

Examples of these service companies are TRUSTe, Internet Shopping Is Safe (ISIS), SafeBuy, ShopSafe.co.uk, WebTraderUK and TrustUK.

Beware of fraudulent operators that have just added the accreditation logo image to their website. A tell-tale sign of this is when the logo is clicked the homepage of the accreditation company’s website appears, rather than the legitimate detailed membership page for the retailer website you are purchasing from.

Website Verification Service

Also known as web seals or trust marks, the website verification services give Internet users information on the data security and trustworthiness of websites. They check whether a website URL address really is authentic or whether it has been hijacked by hackers.

Before exchanging sensitive information, such as providing a credit card number, personal identification information or other confidential data, these services typically allow you to check that the site has been verified by the trusted third party company and that the retailer website is using appropriate safeguarding measures against hackers.

An actual certified member website will have the logo displayed prominently. When this logo is clicked the page displaying the company’s details within the verification company’s website should appear.

Common providers are ScanAlert/HackerSafe, SquareTrade, Thwate/Verisign, TrustLogo/Comodo, and Trustwatch/GeoTrust.

Beware of fraudulent operators that have just added the verification logo image to their website. A tell-tale sign of this is when the logo is clicked the homepage of the verification company’s website appears rather than the legitimate detailed membership page or signed security seal for the retailer website you are purchasing from.

Secure Socket Layer

When making a purchase over the Internet make sure that the order page URL starts with https:// and that there is a small padlock symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the browser window. This means that the data you enter on the page will be more secure from hackers and your payment information will be less at risk.

Credit Card Verification (CCV) Service

This service is an added protection for online or phone purchases. Since the diamond merchant doesn’t actually see the credit/debit card in these situations then it’s harder to be sure that the person supplying the card number details is actually the card holder and not someone who just happens to know the credit/debit card number.

To address this problem, debit/credit card providers put a three or four digit CCV number on the card (usually on the back of the card on the signature strip) that is not embossed (raised). This number doesn’t get printed on sales receipts. Thus someone trying to use the card number fraudulently is much less likely to know this number if they do not have the card in their physical possession.

This type of checking device really reinforces the importance of notifying a credit card provider promptly if a debit/credit card is ever lost or stolen so that card can be cancelled.

The most common of these services are MasterCard Secure Code and Verified by VISA.

Acquire Public Liability Insurance on the World Wide Web

With the compensation culture increasing all over the globe, owning public liability cover is developing into being ever more and more essential. If you don’t currently have liability insurance written-in into your building cover, then now is perhaps the exact time to look at purchasing enhanced insurance. Here is some recommendations about why you require insurance, & what to watch out for.

What is professional indemnity insurance: Public Liability cover is an insurance agreement that shelters you from claims that other individuals may possibly make against you in the probability of an accident. If somebody damages their possessions or harms themselves in or around your property or company then the professional indemnity insurance will shelter you for any compensation claims that could possibly occur. Cover typically ranges from two hundred and fifty pounds up to one million pounds.

What are you insured against: Insurance will insure protect for accidents or loss that others may suffer in or around your residence or business grounds. You are protected against claims from burglars on top of injury that might possibly arise to a person from falling items or staff carrying out repairs. If a disaster arises on your land and someone claims against you, your insurance contract will help out to pay any compensation. Buy business insurance cover online today.

What’s included Various contents or property insurance policies enclose in-built liability insurance. You would be advised to check with your insurer if this is the case, & what degree of protection you have. Even if the insurance is already included, you need to guarantee that you are suitably protected for any particular accidents that may possibly occur.

Payment: The premiums that you are expected to have to pay depend on the kind of protection you purchase. If you only cover your home, then the costs are likely to be lower than if you are wanting to cover a business. Nevertheless, payments are comparatively cheap inexpensive the amount of protection that you get, and its therefore necessary for anyone running a business.

Hormonal Acne - Treating Acne At It’s Source

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 2:56 am on Sunday, December 28, 2008

Why You Should Treat Hormonal Acne Internally, At Its Source

Can you treat a headache or stomach ache externally, without somehow manipulating your natural bodily functions internally (aka popping a pill)? NO! Then why would you try to treat acne that way? Many acne treatment systems today such as Proactiv, target acne only from the outside, and do not address the issue interanally, as it should be for lasting and dramatic results.

If you are really serious about treating acne and really eliminating it at it’s source (ie the hormones that cause acne), then you owe it to yourself to try a natural acne hormone treatment which is specifically designed to equalize hormone imbalance and purify the skin from the inside out using special blends of herbs, botanicals, and/or natural compounds such as Vitamin E and Alpha Lipoic Acid.

Why Go Natural Instead of Choosing a Conventional Acne Medication?

Because many people who have not been responsive to conventional acne treatments, or their effectiveness has worn off due to long term use, experience superior results with natural acne treatments.

Acne can actually be caused by two different hormones in women. It’s usually an overabundance of androgens (male hormones) or estrogens (female hormones). In men, it can also be caused by imbalances in male and female hormones. This hormonal imbalance triggers the breakouts by over-stimulating the oil glands on acne prone areas of the body, which then results in a clogging of the pore, hence that thing we all know and love - the pimple.

Antioxidants are also very potent as hormonal equalizers, as well as “blood purifiers”, and their properties foster an environment for mending skin eruptions as well as preventing new breakouts and promoting a healthy glow and skin tone.

Most natural acne treatments are designed to do two things:

1.) Help correct hormonal imbalances related to acne breakouts.

2.) Reduce inflammation and swelling, and pave the way for fast skin repair where breakouts have recently occurred.

Some other tips you can follow to help prevent unsightly breakouts are:

1.) Drink plenty of water. This helps to cleanse the system, and results in clearer, more hydrated skin.

2.) Avoid caffeine and caffeine-containing products like chocolate or supplements containing caffeine or other stimulants.

3.) Relax. Try a calming exercise for when you get stressed out. Stress triggers breakouts for many individuals.

4.) Avoid harsh cleansers or toners - these can only aggravate acne and cause further irritation and redness.

5.) Use a light, non-comedogenic (non pore-clogging) sunscreen. While it is true a suntan may camouflage breakouts, it mostly aggravates them by forcing further oil production due to its drying effects. Try using a good facial self tanner instead.

If you follow these few simple skincare principles, and combine them with a high quality acne treatment targeted to balance hormones and internally “cleanse”, you really can’t lose. Your complexion will thank you!

The Truth Behind Band Press Kits, Bios, and Controlling Your Image

The Truth Behind Press Kits, Bios, and Controlling Your Image

A lot of what you have been told about creating your image is false. This article is meant to be a simple list of things that might surprise you as a musician. Some of you have had “managers” misguide you. You know the drill. Your guitar player’s girlfriend has a connection at some local club so now she thinks she is fit to orchestrate your entire career. Maybe you have a know-it-all singer who spent 5 minutes glossing over some music industry website and now he is writing your bio chalk full of transparent lies and over-exagerated descriptions of your rock fury. No matter what the case may be, I can guarantee you that you have at least a few misconceptions about how to properly present your image. This article will briefly outline some of the major issues on writing better bios, press kits, and press releases.

YOU HAVE MORE CONTROL THAN YOU THINK

The most important thing I can tell you is you have more control than you think. If you really get the hang of image presentation and playing this game we call the music biz you can virtually create any image you want of yourself or your band. First and foremost I want to talk about the press.

Ever surf the net doing some research of some new band your friend told you about? Ever notice how multiple music sites will have the exact same description of the band? Of course, you aren’t an idiot. You realize these sites simply rip what the band wrote in their bio on the band homepage. But do you realize the POWER of this? Basically, you have the power to syndicate your image in a way. These websites simply don’t have the time, nor intimate knowledge of your band, to create some pseudo-bio for you. They rely on you, and what you have to say about yourself. This is power. Use it wisely.

But you already knew that. What I’m about to tell you is something you may not know, but could drastically affect your bands promotional campaign. PRINT MAGAZINES DO THIS TOO. Yep, a lot of those long write-ups you see in your favorite magazines about your favorite band, have content ripped straight from the bands’ bio. The trick is that this only applies to well written bios. If you do in fact have such a bio, this can be the most powerful weapon in your promotional arsenal.

THE SECRET BIO SAUCE RECIPE

Ok. So let’s recap real quickly. You know that your bio can help control your image on the net. And now you know you can even control how the print media presents you. But how do you write such a bio? First, let’s go over what NOT to do.

INFLATE: Do not inflate your image beyond the reality of your band. Don’t be all flash and no smash. In other words, don’t talk about what you can’t back up. This is the most common mistake in bio writing. I call it “inflation”. This is pretty much adjective abuse. Avoid phrases like “intense live show” or “super sonic blast from the future”. This is stock. This is not creative. If you aren’t the biggest drawing band in your own market, don’t say “this band is taking the nation by storm”. The press and online community have been reading bios with such inflations since the beginning, they see past this very well.

QUOTE FANS: If you can’t get someone credible to say something nice about your band DO NOT resort to using a fan comment. Ever…for any reason.

LIST SONG DESCRIPTIONS: If you are already an “inflator” then talking about your own songs will only cause pain and tragedy.

SPENDING TOO MUCH TIME ON PREVIOUS BANDS: If your last band didn’t have a record deal or tour, don’t bother. If you have some leverage with your “former member of…” status use it tastefully and only in brief.

PERSONAL BIOS: Don’t waste time with writing a story for every band member complete with height, wait, and astrological sign.

Now that we have got those cardinal sins out of the way you are probably thinking “jeeze, what else is there to write about”. This is where we start digging. Time to put on your thinking cap. You have to think like a reporter looking for a refreshing angle. You have to find the one thing that can create an image that will stick. You have to find THE STORY.

By this time I have lost some of you. You either don’t know what I mean by “the story” or you have a bio that breaks every rule I just outlined and you can’t admit it. The best bios read like a good music rag write-up. If your bio is written correctly it should make a staff writer’s job easy. It should be easy for him to “rip” or “cop”. It’s no co-incidence that many pro bands use these kinds of writers to pen their own bios!

Perhaps you have an interesting story about how you came together. Perhaps you have some gimmick, like Siamese twins or 3 bearded lady bassists. But hopefully you have something that connects your band to something going on in the world of music. You need something that will get people’s attention. Maybe your band is the only Death Metal band for 100 miles in the Bible belt. You get the picture. I am going to list some things that can make great stories (and double as press releases). - Being produced by someone reputable - Being managed by someone reputable - Breaking some mark in online CD sales or downloads - Getting a supporting slot on a festival or tour - Having a reputable person as a quoted fan

A PHOTO SPEAKS 1,000 FLAWS

I want to get one thing out of the way: I’m not going to tell you how to dress. But I am going to tell you that it may be your biggest problem. I am not a stylist. I can not solve this problem. I can tell you this though: The camera will expose every flaw you have in your style. With that said, let’s get on with at least getting a quality photo.

I am not a professional photographer. I am not going to tell you how to take a photo of yourself. I am going to tell you where to get one. Your best bet is to find a local photographer that you see at local shows. More often than not, they are either legitimate press, legitimate artist, or a legitimate student. Browse their catalog of band photography and if you think it stands up, there ya go. This may all seem like common sense, but I want to stress that this is abandoned and somehow your guitar player’s girlfriend is your “photographer” because her mom has a point and shoot camera. Do not let this happen to you. Find people with pro gear. Get a professional or at least a digital arts student. These are always your best bets.

If you are going for sheer impact with your 8 x 10 one good tip is to at least look like you are in the same band. I’m not saying get a gimmick or wear make-up. I’m saying that even if you think your personal look is “plain”, your band as a whole can benefit from at least being on the same page.

LOGO

The miracle of Adobe Photoshop has given birth to some of the most breathtaking digital art we have seen. It has also, to the misfortune of bands mostly, created total rubbish. If your logo sucks it says many things about you. It shows you have high tolerance for bad art. It shows you yourself might be a bad artist and were not smart enough to hire a professional. It shows you have a very distorted view about the genre of your band. It shows some of you are totally unprofessional and don’t care about your image.

You might be surprised how many ways there are to find good digital artists to create your logo. In my personal opinion, even paying up to $100 is worth it for a good logo. Bottom line, the sites below are the best place to find killer artists. DeviantArt.com Mylkhead.com AngryBlue.com PlayWithKnives.com EyeSuckInk.com

PRESS KIT SECRETS

One very strong tip I can offer is to try to think of your image as “dynamic”. It has to be all things to all people. You might have to add something extra to that envelope before you send it off. If you are sending your kit out to an artist rep at a prospective endorsee you ALWAYS want it to contain tour dates. This is the most important thing in your attempt to get gear for cheap and say those lovely words to all your loser musician friends playing crappy guitars… “I got an endorsement deal”.

A great add-in is a DVD. There are a lot of affordable ways to make a DVD these days. Again, this is one of those things that will expose your flaws. You don’t want to put your life story on there. Live footage is great if its done right. Fake smoke and that cheesy “page turn effect” are not. Don’t make a wedding video. This will be valuable in your arsenal when try to book gigs.

Ask First. Send. Follow Up. This is your best way to make some impact and get a solid contact in the biz. Your press kit will always have more impact if the person is expecting it (send it promptly).

Make sure you are to the point when calling someone you’d like to send a press kit to. You are Jon Doe from The Doetones. You are going to be in town around this time. You want to send a press kit for a possible gig. If you are sending an email and have an EPK (Electronic Press Kit) NEVER send the press kit in first. Always try to get a response before sending the press kit. If you are sending to a possible endorsee put your upcoming dates in the initial email.

Following up is crucial. Many of the people you will be dealing with in this business are either busy or forgetful…mostly both. You must initiate contact. Be tactful and patient. Do not hound people, but make sure you give yourself a chance to make some opportunities and pick up the phone yourself.

Remember, you are in essence, trying to self yourself to a company or consumer. You have to be a salesman. Try to connect to people and have them want to talk to you. If you can do this they will always want to help you or get you involved in something that will. Or best of all, spend money on you and your product.

Asian Girls Online Dating - Great Tips to Meet Asian Girls !

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 12:39 pm on Thursday, December 25, 2008

Asian girls are in high demand by foreign men. Thousands of couples get connected through the internet.

If the Internet is better than sliced bread, meeting Asian girls online is sliced bread with butter and marmalade (or Nutella, if you prefer!). It’s convenient, time-saving, levels the play field for introverts (actually it gives them the edge), lets you avoid the bar scene, extends your reach, and it works.

I coach men looking for Asian girls, I’ve used Asian Internet dating sites successfully myself, and I research constantly to see which way the wind is blowing.

The wind is approaching hurricane force and it’s headed right toward your part of the world. There are more women looking online than men, as opposed to real life; there are more Asian girls joining all the time as the word gets out; and there are more Asian girls finding suitable partners through this vehicle.

Here are some things to keep in mind:

Asian Girls Dating Tip 1. Know what kind of relationship you’re looking for. Some of the Asian dating sites will give you a chance to specify, and all will give you a chance to talk later, if not sooner. Most feature the infamous “dating profile.” Since the Internet offers plenty of avenues for porn, most people on the legitimate Asian dating sites are looking for relationships. Specify. Long-term commitment, marriage a possibility, companionship and maybe more, and “I don’t know” and “Let’s see what happens,” are all legitimate responses.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 2. Be honest. If you’re not, you’re wasting your own time most of all, because you’ll be found out. You’re also spreading bad karma. Supposedly over 50% of people online lie about their age 5 years in either direction. If you have a problem with your age, income, appearance, education, etc., fix them, or fix your head. It’s relative, so focus on what you consider your good points. You can count on the fact that whatever you have to offer, an Asian girl is looking for.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 3. Avoid signs of desperation. The dream date, of course, would come on like James Bond, cool, confident, suave and sophisticated, with an air of mystery. Desperate people move too fast, say too much, and ask for too little. A man who’s “any” for all categories age, income, ethnic background, religion, children, etc. isn’t looking for a partner, he’s looking for a warm body. Pace your interactions to one or two emails a day, 10-15 min. IM sessions. Keep yourself under control. “Spilling” isn’t attractive. No need to write your life story the first time. That’s a turn off. Keep it light. Save something for next time.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 4. Let someone else deal with the walking wounded. If an Asian girl starts off talking about her traumatic past experiences, or specifies things like “No addicts, no liars, no wife-beaters, no bankruptcy, no adulterers, no borderlines,no hate-mongers,” etc., the Asian girl is showing you she’s not ready to date. I have compassion for these folks; so do you. Most of them will be fine with time and maybe you were thereafter your divorce or breakup. But I get paid to coach them to a better place, while you’re looking for a viable date right now, and a person with that kind of baggage has no business being in a relationship.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 5. Be selective. A writer on one male advice website claims his great profile got him 56 Asian girls respondents last month. Men lie in the area of their prowess, but however many responses you get, be selective. You don’t have to answer them all. If Asian girls are really interested in you AND NOT DESPERATE, they’ll wait. Don’t have so many going at one time that you confuse the Asian girls, because you’ll confuse yourself. If the Asian girl you’re corresponding with gets your details mixed up, move on, unless you want to be just another pretty email in the inbox.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 6. Give careful consideration to the area of sexual talk. Everyone recommends the other sex bring it up first. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s done tastefully.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 7. Who initiates? It doesn’t matter who “winks” or writes first, suggests the phone call, or asks for the date, because you’ll find your personality type and there’s a pot for every lid.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 8. Rely on your intuition. Use your emotional intelligence! If it’s too good to be true, it is. One sign of an ambivalent Asian girl (which you do NOT want) is an Asian girl who comes on too strong at the beginning. If something gives you the creeps, get away. If for any reason you don’t feel comfortable giving personal information like your home email or street address, don’t do it. Better safe than sorry, and there’s no need to rush.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 9. Your profile matters. Get some professional help and feedback from a friend or two. Read the profiles of people of your same sex so you can see what the competition’s doing.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 10.Your photograph matters more. Any professional photographer can help you out. It’s worth it. Nobody looks like their photograph, but you don’t want to eliminate Asian girls because you have such a bad one. And please, don’t be so crude, guys, as to put a photograph on there of you with your last honey. (Could I have made that up?)

Asian Girls Dating Tip 11. Online relationships start in writing, and it’s easy to share what’s going on. Read the writing tips on my web site. You can get advice as to what to say, how to proceed, what to look for, so you look like a pro, not an amateur. It shortens the learning curve.

Asian Girls Dating Tip 12. Do us all a favor and don’t ask “Why are Asian girls looking online?” You are, aren’t you? Maybe you live in a remote location, or don’t have time to run around at night, or prefer a slow introduction, or want to shop nationally. There are some super neat Asian girls looking online including me, my sister, my friends, my last boyfriend, and you! Have fun, and good luck!

Christian Roommates - Being A Light

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 3:52 pm on Wednesday, December 24, 2008

If you are in a living situation with non-Christian roommates, you have an incredible opportunity to witness to your friends. The guiding light for your ministry should be the quote attributed to St Francis: “Preach always, use words when necessary.” Let’s examine this quote and see how it applies to sharing an apartment with non-believers.

First St Francis tells us to “Preach always.” You are the light in your roommates’ life. The key to this is consistency. Have a plan about what it means to preach to you roommates and follow it as frequently as possible. Do you avoid drinking? Do you skip parties? Are there certain movies and TV shows you want to avoid? There are loads of different ways to show your light and they don’t always involve being the “stick in the mud.” For instance, you could attend parties but always serve as the designated driver.

Secondly, St Francis notes that we should only “use words when necessary.” The number one way to preach without using words is to simply listen. All of your roommates are going through difficulties. Do you know about them? Sit down with your roommate and just ask what is going on. Listen to their struggles and concerns. Don’t bombard them with advice. Just listen. When the time is right to speak, the Holy Spirit will be there with words for you. These sessions are often just a great time to build your relationship with your roommate and give them a chance to get junk off their chest. And they’re a fantastic avenue to eventually sharing the gospel with words.

Eventually, you will have built enough of a foundation that you may want to overtly mention Jesus or talk about the gospel. The best way to know when the time is right is to simply wait for your roommates to bring it up. If you’ve been consistently preaching through your actions, your roommates will eventually toss out a question about your faith. Be ready for this. Make sure you have good answers to the common questions.

Living with non-Christian roommates is tough. It’s difficult to always put your best foot forward. But remember, let God work. Don’t try to do it all on your own. You’ll find that He does most of the work for you. You just have to be there.
